ABOUT US
The Osaka YMCA Global Department was established in April 2015 and works to offer local and international programs suitable for the development of global youth leaders and citizens in accordance with the Osaka YMCA Vision 2020.
We seek to be independent of any political ideology and are funded through donor support, grants, and complimentary YMCA business operations including social enterprise.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Global Department’s mission statement is aligned with both Osaka YMCA’s mission statement and the principles in the YMCA World Alliance Challenge 21.

We have hosted over 160 international interns from 20 nations from as far away as Colombia and Germany and as near as Hong Kong , Taiwan, and Singapore. In addition, we have developed Osaka's first Global Youth Conference, with over 400 motivated youth attending our workshops and unique United Nations style General Assembly since 2015.
Our next step is to bridge the division of ideas and community impact. We are pleased to announce the creation of our Y Kickstarter Social Enterprise program, Youth for Causes - a truly global youth project that puts into action the latest ideas from budding entrepreneurs with a social conscience.
